Patchwork Stage School covers a wide variety of theatrical subjects in addition to Dance and Drama classes, they include; Singing Stage combat * Costume design and construction Juggling skills Set design and construction Puppetry skills Mask making Publicity Lighting effects Music and percussion skills Stage School sessions run for 3 hours (1 hour for Juniors) and are divided into three classes; Dance, Drama and Theatre Skills. Our unique Theatre Skills class is designed to compliment the Dance and Drama classes by allowing students to explore additional performance and backstage techniques. These classes will always be relevant to the work studied in Dance and Drama, therefore not every additional subject will be covered each term. This class may also be used as extra rehearsal time where necessary. *Stage Combat is only available for Senior students.
